How Koji Works

Every time a token launches on Ponzu, each Kioke Card receives 10 Koji. Koji is non-transferable, can’t be bought, and can’t be traded seperately from its Kioke. You accumulate it from token launches, and burn it on projects. By default, 1 Koji is automatically allocated to every project so you never miss out on rewards. An additional 10 accumulate in your barrel for voting on projects you like.

Quadratic Voting

Koji is spent quadratically. The more you burn on a single project, the less each additional Koji is worth. Credits = √(Koji burned) + 1. Your share of a project’s 5% Kioke rewards = your credits / total credits from all barrels on that project.

What You Earn

Rewards are paid in project tokens and ETH. When you endorse a project, you earn a share of that project’s 5% Kioke allocation from the Distributor. Early endorsement matters. First to endorse a winner, your share is large. The more Koji you stack on a token, the larger your share for that token. Conviction pays.
